NightHawk... what is that video of and who made it? Is that an R/C F-18 getting hit by a missile? ***???
That's Dave Presta's Yellow F18 suffering structural failure and coming apart in mid-air. The missile was edited in after the fact as a humorous take on the incident.
This is just my thought on the whole "case against Tam" The guy must be as smart as a box of rocks to try to pursue this as mentioned by just about everyone here. They really need to get back to chasing ambulances instead of bothering the hard working people out here!!!

Tam's business liability insurance lawyers will take care of this. end of story. ...that is if he has Business liability insurance. We have 2 million (which is probably low) at my business. The Just turn it over to the insurance company and you will probably never hear about it again.

"What if the person in question has a policy specific to r/c planes, (not a homeowners insurance policies) that covers I'm for any kind of lost of a plane in a crash. Would it make a difference if the person is not in the U.S.A.?"

Yes, that would make a defference only in respect that the claimant's insurance company may have paid a valid first party claim. I can't imagine anyone providing this type of coverage however. If they did I certainly would like to know which carrier.
Also guys, I've seen several comments about denying the claim if there is no pattern or history of Tam's pipes failing. This is not the case. It only takes one incidence to have a valid third party liability claim. It works just like your liability coverage on your vehicle. You could have a 20 year perfect driving record and one night have too many cocktails and hit and injure someone and end up with a pretty serious claim against you.
