As Gordon mentioned, I have a 24 hour cancer walk that weekend. I will do my best and try to come fly during the day, and go and walk the evening shift. I think everyone should try and make this event, I have not been to the field but I heard great things about it.

BTW, last weekend at CA Jets, I heard someone say that there was an "LA Jets" meet that same weekend too. Haven't been able to verify the accuracy of that based on the events advertised in the "2008 Jet Events (USA)" thread, but if it is the same weekend that is a shame since you guys will be sharing potential attendees. Maybe Jason P. can clarify whether there is indeed a clash.

BTW, last weekend at CA Jets, I heard someone say that there was an "LA Jets" meet that same weekend too. Haven't been able to verify the accuracy of that based on the events advertised in the "2008 Jet Events (USA)" thread, but if it is the same weekend that is a shame since you guys will be sharing potential attendees. Maybe Jason P. can clarify whether there is indeed a clash.

Oh well, at least we can look at it as a good opportunity for us NorCal/Nevada guys. Maybe next year we can get it all set up for a salvo of rallys with no conflict - Best in the West, CA Jets, Oakdale, LA Jets, Davis Jets (at the new field maybe), etc...

Dave Presta and I will try and make it for Saturday but I have a fundraiser at the daughters school that day. NOt sure what t do there so we will see. I definitely would like to go though.

Hey for those who have GPS. Iam not shure if you have checked the our web site or the post on r/c universe, Just plug in the intersection of 26 mile Rd. and Eastman Rd. and follow the signs. Hope to see as many of my fellow R/C Jet pilots there!

By now everybody knows about the mix up with the "CANCELLED" post on our web site. Webmaster is working on it. Some get it some don't. Never the less 1ST. JET RALLY IN THE VALLEY is still set and on course. For those that have GPS. just plug in the intersection of 26 Mile Rd.and Eastman Rd. Oakdale Cal. It should get you there.
