Turbine Engine Weight
Anyone actually weighed their 30 to 37 lb. thrust engines? I just weighed my 37 lb. thrust engine and it was alot more than advertised. Need to make a decision on a twin install and looking for real numbers on engine weight. Anyone who has actually weighed their engine please post the models/numbers

RE: Turbine Engine Weight
We give a weight of 4 pounds for our XL200, although Tom Wilkinson in his independent review in RC Jets International made it 3.95 pounds. Weight of the support equipment - ECU, solenoids, pump, battery, onboard gas can - is about 13 ounces. (Tom made it .89 of a pound).

Hi!
Digitech Ulysses model 2007: (same as Simjet 3000-S AES)
Engine with fod screen and wires and hoses coming out of it: 1750 grams
Engine plus ecu, pump, valves, battery: 2250 grams total = 4,9lbs
Thrust: 130 Newtons = something like 28 lbs (advertised: 30lbs)
