This one,

Can't find an image but the Indians had a MiG-21 team that had a gray and magenta scheme. Sounds odd but looked neat, different.

I know a certain someone that would absolutely LOVE this scheme

When I built the Airworld MIG-21 I painted it in the red and silver paint scheme first, and it looked wrong. An aluminum scheme like Johnny's or a nice camo seems to work best on the Fishbed.
The shock cone (nose cone) actually slides back and forth. That's why it looks different in length in different photos. BTW, the cone is made out of plywood :-)

It flys fantastic!! Its a hot rod in the sky but lands very slow.
I have no idea when it will be released you have get with Wagner on that one.
Wagner is taking pre-orders. I know theres a couple already spoken for.

I think that the struts appear to be to long because the gear strut doors are missing or maybe the wheels are a little small. Also, most photos of Migs in action show it with the center line fuel tank or some rocket pods on the wing. This makes it look like it sits closer to the ground. The clearance between the ground and the ventral fin looks right. I would have the same concerns about the side loads though...............

After watching Johnny H. wring out his AW Fishbed at Pensacola last year, these birds can be tamed. It does take the right paint scheme as it is very disorienting. Much worse than an F-16 for some reason. I remember Johnny repainted his after he almost lost it. He highly recommends gyros on aileron and rudder.
Johnny's lands like a *****cat, much like an F-15, nose high, but rumor has it that a couple of top sticks have stuffed them recently.
I agree, the LG does look a bit long. Gonna go back and grab some of J's photos and compare.
Looks like there will be a long que for this new one from FB.

Hi john,
I agree, the side profiles look correct but from the front the struts look long. The real one looks long too from the front. I guess it depends on the weapons load and external tank etc. I think there will be some heavy side loads on the mains and that would concern me with this kit. I still want one though !!! ha
