Default G Booster 160

In the past I have been quick to moan about the dreadful service from another German turbine manufacturer well, I have just received a motor back from the manufacturer/ supplier of the Graupner G Booster.
I handed the engine to Ali at one of our model shows on the 18th May and received it this morning 2nd June repaired! So in fourteen days it has been shipped to Germany, repaired and shipped back to the UK and delivered to my door. THAT’S SERVICE.

Hi Mick,

Good to know as I have 3 of them!

What was wrong with it? A fault or damage from a mishap??

Rgds,
Mark

I opened the thread thinking "oh no..." but glad to hear this, hopefully I won't have to send mine back for awhile.

Glad to be of help Mick.
It is a little awkward for me to write much on this subject ( Due to my association with the competition) But I am a firm believer in telling the truth about a product or a company wether it be good or bad. Regardless of wether or not I am commercially tied to the product/company or not. The level of service that I have experienced when dealing with any of the Graupner turbines has been incredible. I have not had to send many turbines back, as most of the issues that have arisen have been dealt with by the factory via email or telephone directly with the customer. Those turbines that I have sent back have all experienced the same sort of turn around time as Micks. Personally I think the guys at the Graupner factory should be commended for such a service structure.
Regards Al

While we are on the subject of graupner turbines, what is the best way to charge the 3s batteries? I use a Li ion mode but I was thinking of soldering a balanced charge lead as there is none.
Ali do you know if the A123 batteries have been approved?

Thanks

Florent

Florent,

I was told by my Booster 'rep' to charge the pack at 1.5A as a 3cell LiPo.

Rgds,
Mark
