Now how could anyone HATE golf? Being out on a beatifully manicured tract with your buddies...hard to beat...especially when you make a few good shots.

But from a technical standpoint at least a few modern thrust vectoring fighters could theoretically do a tail stand. I don't think you'll ever actually see it though, at least not close to the ground.

Actually, unfortunately, crashing is also scale.[&o]
I saw a demo of thrust vectoring at the WJM 2007, to watch it in the flesh as it were, is stunning.
To see a large scale jet flying up the flight line on its tail at less than 10 mph is chilling. I have to say it is truly inspiring to watch, I never even thought about thrust vectoring a model jet but these guys push the envelope.
While it is up to the individual as to the interest in this type of flying, the flying and setup skill involved is unquestionable.
Hats off to everyone working with thust vectoring, and now Skymaster are developing a Harrier, again pushing the limits, the hobby is moving into new ground.
In my opinion, the future is very exciting.

Hi guys!
That hovering is just a part of the show and shows the ability of the Jet and it's very lightweight construction that make sit possible. The other 3D manouvers are somehow scale if you ever watched anything else than american jets . The russian guys just fly the crap out of their thrust-vectored MiGs and Sukhois.
There is a video of their show at Joe Nall. You are not supposed to like what they do, but take the chance and watch that video. I have never seen better formation flying with jets than theirs.
