Default Breckenridge Texas (Not jet Related but Cool)

Breckenridge is where I want to have a jet event. I go out there often because of the neat things that go on there. Over the last few years they have been rebuilding the old White P-38 for RED BULL. It crashed and burned several years ago. I made some parts for the plane and they finally flew it on June 2. I went out to watch it fly today. Man It Pretty! Here are a few picture. This why I want to have a jet event there, beause of stuff like this. Butch

Was that the P-38 that Lefty Gardner used to fly? I think I heard somewhere he was killed in an accident???

Thanks Butch, great pics, I am sure it was sweet to build parts for such a great warbird and then to watch it fly. I can't wait for more about your jet event.

Too bad P-38 Glacier Girl couldn't have met up with it a few weeks ago when it was in DFW. That would've been a rare sight - 2 flyable P-38s in the same pic! [8D]

I was there when Hudson maidened the F-8, and got to fly my F-16 out on the ramp. What a wonderful place to fly Butch!
And that hangar is full of Aviation Legacy! That Lightning is just incredible.
