New Jet Forum Moderator
To all,
I would like to take this opportunity to officially announce that I have taken the Ghost's place as moderator of the jet forum. The Ghost has left some big shoes to fill but I feel that I am up to the challenge. I look forward to serving the jet community and hope to continue to make RCU a fun and helpful place.
Please don't hesitate to escalate any issues or concerns to me.
Thank You!!
Jim Widner

Hi Jim,
Kudo's to you for taking over a mod position, I did it for a couple years, I wish you the best of luck in the jet forum, it can definitely become a major PITA!!!!
If you have any questions feel free to PM or email me, or any other past mod!
Take care
Jeremy

Don't be shy about using any of the other current (non-jet) or past mod's to bounce ideas / questions off of. Most of the mod's from other forums tend to be very supportive & helpful, plus there's always the community mod's etc to help out too. As far as past mod's go, we may or may not be fully up to date on the latest state of all of the guidance from Mark et al ... but even if we can't give you definitive answers about what is and isn't OK in every single case, we can always help with suggestions about how to approach various issues etc. (Remember that you don't actually have to follow any such suggestions, but you are welcome to solicit them)
Best advice I can give you:
(1) When someone is upset about something that you do, don't take it personally. Sit back and analyze it to see if you could actually have done things better (e.g could you have achieved your goal in a way less likely to cause further confrontation), but after doing that, just let it go.
(2) Do your best to react to posts, not to people.
All the best,
Gordon
