rough dimensions for both are:
width: 130 mm 5.1 inches
Length: 270mm 10.6 inches

What does this have to do with the SM Mig29?

We hope to have the MIG ready near October but lots of test flights need to be done. The most important thing is to have a flight proven model.
If you are interested in one send me an email. I will get you a nice deal.
Skymaster will be at Jetpower.

Is there any improvement on the Mig-29 OVT? How are the test flights going on?
Can you give us a little bit of specification about final versions? (empty weight? maybe new pictures?)
Will you bring this airplane to Jet Power in Germany?

Sorry, I'm focus on landing gear designing, so I really have no idea about release day of big Hawk. But you can ask Anton.

I didn´t understand about the gyros.. can you explain how you use all the channel and where you conect the thrust vectoring and gyros??
With the p180 the mig can go up from hovering?? (because i read that Saba use 2 Titan in his mig)

I use a Futaba GYA-352 dual axis airplane gyro for pitch/roll controls of nozzles, that because this gyro can be set for delta wing type (taileron) plane. The up/down movement of nozzles are same as control surfaces of tailerons, so it is very easy to connect two output channels of GYA-352 to two up/down servos of two nozzles. About the yaw control of nozzles, I use a GY-401 heli gyro for this purpose.
All three axis input of nozzle gyros use independent Rx channels from control surfaces (taileron-L, taileron-R & rudder), this is meaning that you need six channels for all nozzles and control surfaces at least. And you still need three channels for gain setting of gyros and others channels for throttle, gear, brake, flap, nose steering. So, the total needed channels are 14 channels.
Best regards

Hi, Heraldo
yes, the big Hawk almost finish , but I want to test fly the pre-products again, i think the big Hawk will release on Feb or March 2009,
and we will release the two 4 /3/4 scale Hawks ( one is BAe Hawk/ wingspan is 1950mm, one is Hawk 100 / long nose / wingspan is 2000mm w/ Tip pylons)
Best regards

Anton,
You guys are really developing some nice products. I have purchased a few, please keep up the good work. Looking forward to a few more of your quality airplanes soon. The F-16 1/6 has become my everyday flyer. what a great plane.
The F-4 is just spectacular.I am now looking forward to your viper jet and then will get myself on the list for this Mig. Thanks again for the quality products and staff to keep our hobby going.

Hi !!! Li Kai. Wow Wow The Mig looks superb.
I like to have one skymasetr mig-29 like you. I already purchased p-180 lastweek and purchased Futaba GYA-352 yesterday thru Ebay. However i haven't ordered Mig-29 yet because I need some more info. i need a help before i make decision.
If you don't mind, Could you answer me some questions???
1) I assumed that when airplane rudder moves left & right then nozzle moves left & right. And when airplane elevator moves up & down then nozzle moves up & down.??? If so, when Futaba GYA 352 control the 2 nozzles on the mig then Does 2 elevator move same direction as nozzle at the same time??? Does 2 nozzles move together as a one piece??? or two nozzle work independently???
2) What radio are you using to control this beauty????
Thank you !!!

I am entered to assemble my Mig 29 and knowing that the manuals did not publish, can you give me this information.
- To use to you the Landing flaps with SEBA vertion (vector thrust)
- CG position.
- Control surfaces travels elevon (aileron, elevator)
- Control surfaces travels vector thrust
Best regard,
Dorian

RE: Skymaster Mig-29 OVT with Single P-180
Hello Nikki:
These two nozzles are operated independently. So their up/down movements are similar to taileron which can control roll and pitch. When they move left/right, they act as rudder. I use one GYA-352(switch to delta-wing ALV-Mixing mode) for VT-roll/pitch control and one GY-401 for VT-yaw control. All gyros are for VT nozzles control only and all control of surfaces are left to my own hands.
I use slide lever of Tx to switch gyro gain. When air speed near to zero, heading-lock mode is selected, but when air speed is built up, rating mode is selected.
The radio that I use is Futaba 14MZ.
Best regards

RE: Skymaster Mig-29 OVT with Single P-180
Here the adjustment used by Likai
C.G. : 230~240mm measured from L.E
Throw: Elevator 80mm up/down
Aileron 25mm
Rudder 30mm
Flap 80mm for landing
VT 20 degree for all direction
If your Mig is using taileron, the throw for roll is 40mm.
I have make my first flight Friday, the orders are soft with these adjustment.
The gear is formidable
