I've had a new ShokJet for several months now and have never flown it. Time to pass it along to someone who can use it. The Ad is here. I've got plenty of pictures to email to anyone interested.

If you get a chance... could you post a pic of your flap/crow set up?? Also... when you go full crow... how much elevator do you mix?
I'd like to try to fly it at my home field this weekend, and I would like to have it set with a known amount.
Thanks.

I mounted my Go-Pro to my Shok-Jet by gluing a plywood plate under the fuselage top, behind the hatch and in front of the wing. Then bolted one of the go-pro mounts into 4x40 blind nuts in the ply plate. I used flat head counter sunk screws. Worked fine and the shok makes a fine camera mount. Did not effect the flying characteristics at all. I had to use one of the mount extensions to get the camera above the canopy. Works great facing forward or backwards.
Give it a try.

Great looking video Shepp. I am excited about getting mine mounted but I just want to make sure I got it mounted in a way that has been tested. I know the exact area your talking about and that is where I planned to mount it. Just didn't know which mount was being used so a couple pictures would be great.

Yep, I forgot about the background. The frame is. '15 coupe the other you see is a '24 canopy express. Also have a '27 touring and. '29 model A pickup in the same room. Good eye you have. Lol

Thanks a bunch Glenn. I think that's going to help with the looks a little more. What did you use for a nose retract setup? I already got some of Dr. Honda's brakes on the mains so a nose retract would be pretty sweet.

Retracts are std Robart 90 degree with 3/8 Robart strut. No big deal. I also used robart brakes (narrower than dr Hondas ) and put on a pair of wheel pants I had laying around. The false engine is 1/4scale cont. from "Top notch products"

Man, I love this jet! My 3rd year of campaigning this plane. The P70 is running flawlessly. Here are some videos a friend took for me.

I did add a set of Kavan Electric brakes to the mains in addition to the stock flapper, and now it comes to a halt right now. Maybe 3 foot roll outs using the paddle switch on the side on my 9503, hooked up to a 7amp brushed motor speed controller coming off my lipo batteries. Tooo much fun!
