Default RE: Boomerang Sprint Pro-Link Gear Sets

Hello Todd

Just a question, I thought after the elan ajustable main struts the sprint struts would be the same design, ie straight design so you could utilize a larger main wheel. Looks like their is enough room to do it, is there a reason for the design being like the baby boomer or just designer preference? Again not a gripe just a question.

Thanks, Neal

Good news for the US customers & Sprint fans, the Dreamworks Pro-link retracts that Todd makes for the Sprint are ready now. Patricia will be selling them in a package deal with the kits, as we also do for the XL and Elan.

By simply removing the small curved shape part of the former (it was added by the factory without my say so), each side behind the short nose gear rails and which is now designed out, you can fit the Pro-link gear without any pads lifting the nosegear off the rails. The steering arms drop right in behind the rails, as I intended.
Well done, Todd, I can't wait to fit them to my own Sprint.

Neal,
The Sprint was designed with trailing link gear in mind and the pocket was already offset for these type of gear. A straight leg strut will not allow for a larger wheel since th pocket has already been offset.
