Maj. Woody's FeiBao F-5E
Well guys my new F-5 is finally done. I sent the factory some 3 views and 1/48 scale decals for the VFC-13 Saints color scheme. It is the Navy agressor squadron at Top Gun. The jet is the big 120 size. I am putting in my new JetCat P-160SX. My jet is shipping Monday so I should have it by the end of next week. I can't wait to see it. I will take lots of pictures. I will also do my usual detailed build thread. Here is a picture that the factory took:

Looks Great! I really like the paint scheme. Much different than a lot of the F-5s you see out there. Looking forward to the build.

Nice lookin bird. You and me are on the same boat my Fei Bao 1/6 scale F-16 ships Monday also. I can't wait.

It is 1/6 scale. 96 1/4" long, 59" wingspan, weight is stated at 26 lbs but I would guess 30 lbs is more realistic.
The models has preinstalled landing gear, gear doors and air cylinders and even speed brakes all preinstalled with the cylinders. I will take a bunch of pictures when I get it next week.

I guess having it for the New England Jet Rally next weekend is out of the question.

I picked up an F-5 cockpit awhile back and was just looking it over. My Bluebox Pilot looks like it was made for this cockpit and fits perfectly. This cockpit will look awesome in my new F-5E. Can't wait till my bird comes.......Oh, did I mention that already

Here is mine just out of the box..
I intend to build\finish this in 3 weeks time.
Any idea where I can get a good cockpit set? that is, not for 450$ as SM require for theirs...

Well I have the tracking number for my new Jetcat P-160SX and it is on the way. I will have the turbine next week. My F-5E did not leave the factory on Monday but was supposed to leave today. The wait is killing me.

Well the tracking number for my F-5E is now "Alive". I'm not sure what the hold up was cause the jet was due to ship last Monday but just left the factory today. So.......we will get to see this thing by the end of the week. I'll post pictures of the P-160SX also.
