Looking really sweet Peter, i presume it's going to be base cote, clear cote paint type. Any idea how much paint will weigh....

I really like that blue, what type of blue it is and what is it's paint code?...

Falcon will look great once fully painted.

Peter, you might want to check the date on your camera, otherwise people are going to think you have two of these, and have been holding back the painted one for two years. Heh.

Looks awesome, can't wait to see it this year.

Have not had a chance to update on the 7X although it has been ready for a while, been busy on 2 other projects and possibly a new twin business jet soon.
Here are a few pictures, this is a work in progress, a full lighting system will also be installed at some point.

Looking forward to flying the 7X in full colors this summer. Hopefully Jim Brown will take another great video.

The 7X is slowly getting its scale add-ons installed, the fuse lighting system is done, next are the wings. I need to add an air fail safe system and then it is ready for the flying season again. Some pictures attached and a short demo clip. Once it is all done, I will make a full video with the 7X assembled.

The lighting system is finally done, it took a lot more work than I expected since the model is painted and I had to be extra careful not to scratch the paint, but it was well worth it.

Here is a short demo:

Now it is time to fly again.

Decided to re-test fly the 7X after the paint and light systems were done since paint and clear coat add quite a lot of weight to such a large model. As it turns out, it did not need any CG changes. Video quality is poor but better than nothing for now. The servo that activates the valves for the retracts and doors although tested a million times and the model flown a few times did not work and it looks as if itburnt out so flew with the gears down and doors closed. Will take better videos in a couple of weeks at the upcoming jet event.

One more thing left to do is to install the cabin door carpet.

Peter,

That's great, it must have been a thrilling moment!!! Wish i could have been there...

Get the retract valve fixed and get someone to take some nice footage.
Regards,
Dany
