Default Model Test Weekend/ Do What You Want

We have a opportunity to use a U S Government approved test site to test our models. It is a UAV Test Range in Arizona. We would have control of "Air Space" in a 25 mile radius and up to 80,000 feet. It will cost us nothing but personal cost which is to be determined but I think it will be between 3K and 5K for 3 days. The runway is 1500 feet x 150 feet. It has a hanger and a shop that can be used. We would not need insurance or anything special to fly. This is a facility set up for this kind of stuff AND WE WOULD HAVE GOVERNMENT APPROVAL ! You would be responsible for your own equipment but nothing else. I know there are people out there that will try and screw this up ,but they can't. I want to know who would like to do this and when would be a good time. I am thinking of late March or early April. Don't ask me what you are limited in doing, if you feel you are big enough to try it you will be able to do IT ! If you want to "*****" go somewhere else because I'm not listening. There are a lot of people that want to do this and now is our opportunity. Butch [email protected] 817-223-0779

Butch, I would love to come to the party!! Count me in!

If there is going to be a date request in that time frame, I would request it be either the week before or the week after of Speedworld Jetrally. That way I can hit both!! I would hope others will agree.

AWESOME!!!

If you can avoid the weekend of 3/21 and 22nd that would be great. Really would love to come out with a few special toys.

I have had several people ask. What will they be able to do? You can do anything you want, Go Fast, Go stright up, Fly from a video screen (with a buddy box), ect. If you have wanted to do something with a model and have not had a place to do it this will be it. Still looking at dates but the end of March is about the time. Will keep you posted, please Call and I will try to answer your questions. Butch Sickels 817-223-0779 [email protected]

How is the weather/wind for that time of the year? For that region.

Have a couple questions for everyone. Would the weekend after Speed Week in Arizona be a good time for this event? Would that give some of you enough time to get a crazy project finished? Or should I still do it in late March. Remember you will be able to fly whatever you want, Big and Heavy, Fast or whatever you want to do. Feel free to contact me and let me know what your ideas are.
