Just found out that the Comfort Inn in Navarre where a number of us stayed last year has been changed to a Days Inn. Rooms are $72 a night.

Talked to a couple of flyers and they want to meet at Cocodries Thursday evening. Maybe Eric will buy the bread again this year[X(]

The earliest we will be allowed to set up is 5:30pm on Thursday, due to the Navy using the field prior to our arrival. As we get closer to the date of the event, I will see if we can set up any earlier, but for now its 5:30pm.

In case anyone is needing a room, there is a brand new Hampton Inn about the same distance, I don't know the rate.

Tents will be available, the prices are:

10x10=$150
15x15=$165
20x20=$235
20x30=$350
20x40=$440

Also, we are working on having Jet A or K-1 available.

I have a question for you guys attending the event. I am local to the flying area in Gulf Breeze, FL and would like to get my turbine waiver if I can. I am wondering what the process would be and who I might need to contact to help set this up or if it is even possible. I do not currently have a turbine jet and only have a Warbird to demonstrate my flying ability. I have had two jets, Tam's F-16 and a Eurosport, but was unable to finish due to lack of funds at the time. My wife has finished school and jets are more feasable and realistic now. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be great. I am in the process of hopefully purchasing a Yellow F-15, but will not have it ready to go by the event. Well just a little over four weeks till Pensacola jets.

I'm ready, registration paid, 20X40 tent ordered and paid for. BTW Rob, mailed the additional $$ for bigger tent today. There will be at 7 in the tent maybe 8.

Now it's just a waiting game.

Tom, tell Jane I may have a couple of pounds of pecans for her. My biggest pecan tree went toes up or should I say roots up[:@]. I can taste those CC cookies now[sm=tongue_smile.gif].
