Default Thank You

To all,

Due to personal matters I have decided to step-down as Moderator of the Jet Forum. I personally want to THANK everyone who gave me their support in my short time as moderator. To say that being a mod was interesting would be an understatement.

Again, THANK YOU!!

Best Regards,

Jim

I've had a thread deleted in the past 72 hours, far be it for me to have the power of free speech on this forum

I'm not a big fan of censorship, and don't believe I could stand behind some RCU policies, but thanks for thinking of me BEN!

Good Luck Jim!

Sean,

That's precisely why you'd be a great mod. Give it a shot, my friend....especially if it allows the retired mods to stay in retirement and continue their well-deserved rest and relaxation!

Hehe,

No thanks...I think I'll just criticize and fault-find from the 50 yard line! J/K...

Actually, I've often wanted to give it a try, but I imagine my signature line would preclude me. Also, I'm a free-speech advocate from way back, so I suppose that would make me rather ineffective at the job.

Lol......it looks like I can not get anybody to take the plunge. Can you send your freedom password to me so I could login and ask Tiger to take this lucrative position that just opened up?

Later bud!!!

Jim -

A BIG "thank you" for stepping up to the plate and taking on a thankless job. I thought you did a great job and treated everyone fairly. It's a shame that we even need moderators, but a few people just don't know how to keep a civil tongue.

I sure was Defconned and placed on BOLO list by the Barefoot"Bitc*". I heard they are now looking for financial bailout from members.

Hi,

Yes, it's true. They're asking for donations to keep the site going. There aren't any ads or fees, so there's no income for the site. As you know, it's a different kind of site; very small-time (especially compared to RCU) and with very few members. When I read the request for donations, I ponied up my $20. If I had known that you had been Defconned and BOLO'd, I'd have ponied up $200!

That's what I love about you, Ghost! You're always willing to engage in fun, harmless banter!

Dam Jimmy, seems like only yesterday you took on this monumental endeavor. I personally want to thank you for all that you have done for RCU and the jet modeling industry as a whole. Your quick witted comments and over the top sensationalism will surely be missed. Also your undying support of our club jet events are second to none! You surely will be missed on these forum pages.

Tim Redelman.

Tim,

I am just simply returning the support you give me. You sure know how to take sarcasm or should I say $h!t slinging to a whole new level. Anyway, THANK YOU!!

Jim
