can you post pix of the jet with a ruler, cigarette pack something we can use for size reference. looks good. what size motors is it designed around? P70s? P120s etc.
looks great

RE: Fei Bao 1/9 SU27?
Feibao has just raised the bar with the debut of our new Sukhoi SU-27. This is a
no-comprimises model for twin P-80 and up power. FB has built thousands of models
and we have learned a thing or two along the way, and this one is the culmination of
all that design and manufacturing experience, a real show-stopper, not a cheap
Chinese model, but a world-class model that will equal or surpass anything from
anywhere in the world, one that will change perceptions and please even the most
discriminating modeller.
It is exact scale, with all panel lines, rivets, raised hatches and inspection
panels, infrared detector, antennae, vents, fully detailed landing gear, you name
it.
The landing gear itself is incredibly strong, developed through many prototypes,
using all the latest CNC machining, and the end result is a work of art. All gear
doors and cylinders can come factory installed for an extra charge of $150, and all
have new, more durable door hinges and new-style air cylinders for reliable and
strong action. A pneumatic speed brake is also offered.
You can get it in any paint scheme you like, if you can provide a set of decals and
a painting guide from a plastic model, we can do it, all for no extra charge.
Markings are all hand-painted, with some small detail ones using high-quality
water-transfer decals. All of the small nomenclature decals that really give a
model depth, and often cost hundreds of dollars from one of the specialist marking
houses, will be included and installed.
Not only that, you can order it in factory new, lightly weathered, or heavily
weathered, all done by hand with an airbrush, for no extra charge.
The plane uses extensive amounts of advanced materials such as carbon fiber and
Airex, resulting in a very light but VERY strong airframe you will not worry about
wringing out.
The official debut will be at the Florida International Jet Rally at the end of
October. A new prototype is being painted as we speak to be ready for the show, and
another model is undergoing flight testing. When both models have adequate flight
testing on them, and are well proven, we will make any changes needed to the
tooling, begin full production, and announce the price, but not before, so please be
patient. It will not be very long, we will keep you posted. We promise you this,
though...the price is going to be a very big surprise, not only will it be top-notch
model, but it will be sold for a very modest price.
Take a look at one of our unpainted test models in the works, and please do give us
either your praise or your comments, we do appreciate any feedback from our
customers, we value all input, and quite often make changes and improvements based
upon what you have to say. As a matter of fact, we RELY on your feedback, so please
feel welcome to comment, our molds and CNC files are not written in stone, we can
always change things if someone has a good suggestion.
Thanks for making us what we are today, and we hope you feel as excited about this
model as we are, we feel it's really a milestone.

Very nice Wagner. Good job.
Great detail in the mouldings. Very nice and detailed struts. Is that a fake landing light? Realy looks good. Hope they have improved the gear cilinders as well.
Sorry, but I really don't have the expertise to give any suggestions to improve this product, because it already seems great as it is. Hope they make a nice finish/painting job as they did in designing and manufacturing the plane.
Will this plane fly with a single 35lb. turbine?
Oh men...that gear is killing me
Regards
Nuno

RE: Fei Bao 1/9 SU27?
anyone know the depth of the fuselage in the center?
a JetCat P180 is 4.72" in diameter in case anyone was wondering if a similar powered motor would fit in the center of the fuselage with a split pipe. ofcourse you'd be cutting a whole new hatch area out of the center.
it will be a great platform to toss around for sure. hope you boyz have fun at FIJR
good luck

Hello Hajo,
Harald Huf has make a smaller Su-27. I have build one for Andy Scholl. We have put in two P-60´s. It´s enough Power. See attached Picture. My opinion is if you will put two bigger Engines inside the Model will be to heavy for that size. Best Regards Peter

Yes it's a fake landing light on the nose gear, they improve the air cylinders (retracts and gear door) design, the new production will be leak free. This plane was projected for 2 engines, it can fly with two 17Lbs but it will have better performance with two 20Lbs engines.

I think a single engine setup should be standard with twins as an option. Keep things simple all the way around.

First of all congratulations to Feibao on what looks like a superb rendition of the SU-27. The landing gear looks first class.
Buck
Feibao have chosen to go down the scale fidelity road with the twin turbine installation and to retain the proper cross section in the fuselage. Skymasters have opted for a single turbine in their Mig 29 and the increased depth of fuselage in the centre to accomodate the single turbine is a big deviation from scale.
I still think you could go the single turbine route with the SU-27 by placing a bigger turbine in one of the engine bays and using a straight pipe, you could then balance it out by putting fuel and / or equipment in the other tubine bay, it has been done before and seems to work.
Two Wren Supersports sounds like a light , economical and powerfull combination!
Best regards
John

great info amigo. I look forward to hopefully seeing her in action over the next year. as with most ARF kits on the market the weakest link is the landing gear structure and ultimately the landing gear. I hope the factory is able to find a viable compromise between keeping costs affordable while providing a bullet proof landing gear support structure.
any chance of getting pix of the inside of the airplane? hopefully, folks will be able to get a good look at her at FIJR both on the ground and in the air.
nice work gents, keep it up
cheers

funny you mention the Wren SS!!! I was doing a bit of currency conversion just the other day. just to get an idea.
