Default bvm arf bandit colours

Just a thought-Remember the old days -Bvm themselves have produced some classic all time paint schemes-from the classic yellow Fly navy -ultra viper scheme and ones such as
Englands world record breaking black bandit scheme flown by Mr Steve Elias-
or what about Terry Nitches old lime green and purple speedster scheme-any one think there could be a demand for new colours-as I think it makes a mean machine look brillant and faster!any thoughts?

If you want Hi-viz, the bottom is key as it is the part you see the most!

Wow! thats bright.
I finally managed to get hold of an old school bandit in what I class as classic BVM scheme, and love it!
I am going all retro with a white green and blue electra so I know exactly where you are coming from Adam. For me it stems from not being able to have these models first time round so now I can I want them just as I remember them in the days when Df was on the way out and turbines were on the way in.

I tried to find pictures of the Terry Nitsch lime green scheme before I painted my old fasioned man bandit but struggled so just freestyled it.

They could produce a really good old school scheme for the Barf..........

If nothing else this is turning into a great Bandit picture thread (which is great news).

Jason - why did you paint the Bandit in the middle picture pink?

Hello crew-great to see these great classic pics-but I see a good bit of mileage in these- as ARF colours-what are your thoughts.
Ali's I think was BV's first original colour scheme powered by a JPX T260P-looks cool even though the paint job is from 1996!-CLASSIC[8D]

Lol - also given my entire jet build count is at 1 so far, I'm not entirely in a position of sarchasm strength!

Anyone out there able to dig out any photos of the afore mentioned Viper in the lime green / purple scheme. They should bring that scheme back to life - didn't Steve Elias have a Maverick in the same scheme?

Jason,
Is that a Maverick Pro under the Bobcat?

Have just recently bought my first bandit, i remember them when they first came out . . . . i wanted one so badly!! but couldnt quite afford it, thankfully things are very different now. The first one i saw was Viojett/BVM 96 powered, it was fast with that but was in a class of its own with turbine power. I would like a second bandit, I was at the recent classic jets and saw a bandit with the full gear door (mains and nose) kit and the ventral air brake . . . . . really fancy all that! i will get hold of one eventually.

I am sure most Jet guys in the U.K. will be familiar with these two bandits, and probably some pilots from over the pond too.

Geoff, I am sure you wont mind me posting the attached pictures.

whats the big thing with these plastic Bandits? Arf bandits are certainly not a mans bandit. Get a classic and enjoy the best looking, best flying sport jet in world ever.
