I´m wondering if the new Comp Arf A-4 Skyhawk is already available?

The production kits are available now and the serial production on the u/c systems will start next month.
Great looking/flying model at an impressive size!

I have just ordered one and hopefully Santa will be here soon
!
I have a TAM A-4 , good looking plane but my hands can´t move around in the fuse so I had to order a Composite A-4
Hope other grazy Composite A-4 owner will join this thread !

Its sure does look like a nice kit. I dont know much about the A-4's but the version with the hump on top looks really nice.

I have just recieved the last pieces to start my A-4 build - especially the gear holy f.. moly
I quess I am a Composite Arf customer for the rest of my life

hello fellows
i have just finished the C-arf Tucano turboprop and next on the bench will be the A-4. i have just cjecked the kit today, AWESOME! i was not so shocked anyway, as i have theyr Mig 29 at my workshop for years, so i was expecting something similar. anyway, its MUCH more prefabricated and MUUUUUCH less complicated!
anybody is doing a scale cockpit for this baby?
i will post pictures when i start building her.

I am just about finish with all the major things - currently waiting for the remaining scale parts !
It is a very fine model and I look forward to finish her up. I will properly build a second one early next year - for for training and the second as a hangar queen
The long front nose leg together with the massive mains are absolutely sexy [sm=tongue_smile.gif]

It sure is a great looking model.
I'd like to get one, but I'm really worried that it will turn into another Mig-29 fiasco and I can't take that chance on a $10K model.
I'll certainly follow the thread as the A-4 is one of my favorites.

Nothing can go wrong with this one cos it is basically very simple (even though I have had some minor headaches), the big challenge is the actual installation of the component in this kit but also that is what I like the most
When this sexy plane sits on its wheels on a big table with the nose up attitude you will pay the money without thinking, even if you took a loan in your house

look forward to see the pictures of your plane´s progress. instead of startin mine, i had to build another comp-arf Tucano turboprop, but since this one is the secon i built, it´ll be fast.
what scale partes are you waiting for?do you know if any company has come with a detailed cockpit?
i have to agree with you, i don´t see anything that can goes wrong with the A4, it´s fairly easy and uncomplex compared to the MIG 29.
i have one of the Migs with me for long years waiting the owner to raise money to finish her.....this one is kind of a nightmare, or a challenge...

i have started mine one week ago!
so far had worked on the wings:
l/g installed
doors working
have replaced the "live hinge" of the main gear door for a proper hinge made of several small du-bro dinges running through a single piano wire(looks great and works perfectly
slats working
flap and spoiler working too
pictures to follow
i would like to know other builders progress!
