Default FeiBao Ultra Thunder

Did anyone get any video of the Ultra Thunder flying at the FIJR? I think that the General got some still shots and I hope that he posts them soon. Bevar did a great job of flying it.

Hey Bill, I heard Wagner talking about Fei Bao working on making a BIG EDF fan unit....I wonder if that is something that you could run in the Ultra Thunder? I wonder what they are planning? I bet you end up with one if they do....start saving those pennies. Talk about an Ultra Electric machine! Hmm maybe thats the reason for the name...team it up with Thunder Power batteries maybe.....anybody have a crystal ball on this one????

Rich,

Wagner has all of the scoop on this one. They were going to take pictures of it yesterday. He is traveling back from FIJR to Miami today, so maybe we will hear more from him soon.

Mark,

That big monster fan that Pablo had is supposed to put out big time thrust. Who knows, anything is possible these days.

Regards, Bill

That thing was fast. Loved the color scheme too.

Keith,

It does have the lines of a military fighter, in my view. I'd like to have mine done in a military scheme. Something like the USMC Grey Ghosts Squadron of the Vietnam era would be nice.

I don't think there were many pictures because it wasn't on display. I heard it was a prototype and it was just brought out for the flight.

Mark,

I think that it would really look better with a swept tail fin. Maybe Wagner can talk to the factory about it. It would also look very good in a USAF South East Asia camo color scheme. Maybe us regular flyers could have them by February or March. Hey Wagner, will we have some in time for Florida Jets?

No one seemed to know this was going to happen. All of a sudden this thing comes out of the trailer, flys, and gets put away. Everyone was going nuts about it, especially the General. He was, as he said here, really pumped about it. I guess that we will have to wait for Wagner to get on here and tell us more.

I have to agree, If your going to emulate success, go with a well engineered design..

Uncle Joe,
Obviously this thread is a hoax.
The amount of pictures and celebration that get posted over any of FB's (horribly out of scale)(and just plain ole ugly) aircraft, do you think that there would be no media or marketing attempt by Wagner if there WAS a sport plane? Then to post a picture of Tom Cooks Firebird is just asinine.

These are my opinions, I don't plan on arguing them, if you think they are pretty then that's all that matters........but someone had to say something[:'(].

Have some respect for Tom Cook and take that picture down.

Sorry to hear that, you never told me when you asked me for Fei Bao sponsorship, but I still respect your opinion.

Wagner, I never asked for Fei Bao sponsorship for myself. I asked if you would sponsor our event out here in California. At the time I owned a FB Hawk and liked it very much. I asked if you would help out another FB Hawk owner who was having gear problems with his current non Fie Bao system, and you did. I told you that if you were looking for a pilot out in California he was your man to approach, he was unattached and a very good stick. Thank you for supporting all of us while we owned your products, I have/will never say anything bad about your service and commitment to your business. I am merely stating my opinion about the "look" of the current fleet of aircraft. I apologize if this offends you, this was not my intent, you are a stand up guy and I wish you the best of luck.
Dave
