What Happened to Trim Aircraft Wheels & Brakes?

RE: What Happened to Trim Aircraft Wheels & Brakes?
Todd........YES there is interest! The Trim wheels and brakes are awesome. I have never had an issue with the tires coming off even without those pesky little screws tat the other guys use. The Trim brake valve is the best valve available.....once you get it figured out.
The valve gives proportional braking and a "parking brake". With some tweaking, I set it up to set the brake with a pulse of down elevator which results in a smooth gradual deceleration on rollout as well as keeping the jet stopped during start. I have never had one leak in 10 years.
As you may recall, we discussed this our jet rally at SVF a couple years ago.
Tailwinds,
John

Thanks for the reply, sounds like i'm not the first customer left hanging...that makes me feel a little better but I certainly don't remember reading anything on their website stating they will ship their products when they ''get around to it''

RE: What Happened to Trim Aircraft Wheels & Brakes?
I went ahead and ordered them from Cindy at Aeroloft, she said she would order from Tony at Trim and have Tony ship them directly to me. I would have ordered directly from Trim but their website does not list out the brakes for ordering, there is just a photo of assorted wheels with no price listed?? It should not be this hard to spend $200.

RE: What Happened to Trim Aircraft Wheels & Brakes?
Hi All this is Tony at Trim Aircraft
Thank-you for your interest and positive comments about the Trim Aircraft wheel and brakes.
I have been working on a spreadsheet that lists all the possible combinations (there are about 150 different types)
Placing these into a website has been very difficult and I am getting some help from an IT friend of mine to complete the task.
The naming convention that I have used is WBS: Wheel Brake Set, wheel diameter in mm, strut slot width in inches, axle diameter in inches and the style of wheel
For example WBS66716316B is a wheel brake set of 66mm wheel, 7/16" strut slot width, a 3/16" axle, style B (6 holes)
The WBS includes all the air fittings, tank and a proportional brake valve.
Most combinations are in stock
Dealers include Aeroloft Designs and Great Northern Models - I will call Ed at GNM and see if he is willing to increase his stock levels.
Any questions can be directed to me at [email protected]
All the best regards
Tony
