I am not sure here....
Why cant you/they go ??
Most Arab countries ban their citizens from travel to Israel. In fact, only 3 of 21 Arab countries recognizes Israel as a state.

So Israel allows them to come over... but their own countries dont allow them to visit/compete ? nice....
Yes this is more or less correct.
To be more precise, I can perfectly enter Israel. The problem is that as soon as I get an Israeli custom stamp on my visa, I will be banned for Dubai.
Then of course I'll lose my job...
????So you live there, work there and do what they expect , you go to a JETMODEL-COMPETITION..and they throw you out ?????
that is a joke , right ?

Why would anyone go to a war zone to fly model airplanes?
Time for the JWM people to find a new host country.
Israel was a bad choice to begin with.

Why not. I am sure if you go there with a IDF f16 they will set you up with a few model palistinean villages to bomb and watch little children scream and burn. Its a just a game you know. The israelis are the most peacefull folks on the planet. After all they are just doing what the good ol peacecor Bush does.

Someone had a post here earlier today. Where did it go? That reflects a lot of what is going on the hosting country.

To My Love RCU,

Freedom of speech and opinion expression shouldn't be banned as long as it does not touch individuals.

Let us all search for the truth. Let us all look behind what might look nice on surface and very ugly inside.

Let this small community be brave enough to accept what's right. Agree, what might be right for me, might not be right for you, but what I meant is RIGHT by all human regardless of their religion or color. Do you all know that I am believer in all major religions i.e. Judaism, Christianity and Islam! Yes and will be.

Hope that all brave men and women out their express their opinion with broad understanding and ability to see the entire picture and honesty.

Salute to you all, they know themselves.

Olnico, I am sorry I got you in trouble , I guess we hit a sensitive subject.
I am not trying to defend anybody, but some stuff here is just BS.
BTW: this post has nothing to do with jets..., neither does yours

For sure not in wintertime, no flying then.
May to September is fine, let me know when you visit, you can fly some of my jets if you want.
best regards

my post was deleted. but good news. the organisers will now welcome jet jocks from palistine. they must only bring paper planes and be prepared to sit behind a checkpoint. anyone prepared to be a sitting duck will be accomodated in a clearly marked UN enclosure.

Today is the last day for teams to arrive. Competition starts tomorrow.
Which countries turned up & how many entries actually appeared.
Distinct lack of any up to date info on this event.
