Some of those vid. links in post 98 were not linking, so I've edited them and all are connecting OK now.

Great performance, why don't we fly it with a P70.... 60" wing is needed for all that extra 12 oz. of the P60. Can we have a MW44 wing now? Please?

Actually, I doubt seriously that even an extra pound shaved from the total weight would allow for a significantly smaller wing. Crunching the numbers, one could shave a few inches at best. But I'm sure U could chop off as much as u want from the stock wing with little effort !!

The Nano kits are ready to be shipped from China, hopefully this week. Should be here both US and Europe in July.

Opening Price offer will be $599 in the USA or £399 in the UK. for the first 140 kits in thisshipment.

I've been flying both the MW44 and the P60 versions like mad as they are just great to fly. I reckonNanos will be very popular when they are seen to be a fabulous super steadyand yet highlyaerobatic trainer for the small turbines.

Alan.

i think that if the price in the range or 300 to 450 would be better.
Yes it would but I bet it comes in closer to the 599 mark.
I see I was right on the money with the price guess, Maybe I will win
a free kit.

Just guesstimating from looking at the current price range...

Sounds good to me now if we could just get Alan to read our posts maybe he will have a dream that tells him that his kits would make some great prizes.

Hi Guys:
This is a message to the guys on my "Nano List" and all others who may be interested....

The container is supposed to be in Los Angeles on July 10th. It will then be loaded on a train and sent to Dallas, Texas where it will be examined by Customs. I should be receiving the kits in my warehouse approximately July 20th. Bear with me, these dates could change, but I wanted to let you know what it looks like so far.

If you want to be added to my Nano List just drop me an email to: [email protected]
If you have any questions either email me or call me at 972/991-1499

All the Best
Patricia

Thanks in advance

Default RE: Boomerang Nano!!!

My proto model of the Nano dry weight is 12 lbs exact with the MW44 and 12lbs 12 ounces with the P60. Performance is excellent with either.
That is using Springair retracts with wire legs and lightweight wheels, Dubro 50 ounce tank, Hanson bubbletrap, Lipo batteries.

The kit comes with a fixed landing gear set (same as the Intro used to have) and simple wire pushrod set. Both Dreamworks and Digitech will be making custom retract sets which will be available days after the kits are released.

At take off the full tank of fuel makes the Nano 3 Lbs heavier but the performance is so good that it feels hardly any different to the light weight near the end of the flight, when the tank is almost empty. Aerobatics are a joy. Flight time with the MW44 is over 12 minutes and with the P60 about 7 to 8 minutes, assuming the mixed throttle settings used during a normal flight.

I think you'll love it!

I'm on the list at Ali's, having decided that the Nano will be the best machine for introducing my new MW44 and myself to turbine flying.

Is the fuel tank included Alan, and what is its capacity?

Gordon

Tank is not included, but Dubro tanks seem to be universally available and their 50 ounce tank fits perfectly.

They are here! Possible the first Nano delivered in the US. Picked up at the warehouse in Dallas and hand delivered to Hal Dale at the Mid-Mississippi R\C field in Jackson Saturday. Now the clock is ticking. Who will have the first one in the air.
