I'm also building one at the moment. There is no manual delivered with the kit, there is one on the web site of FBjet but not very useful (outdated).
Here is a picture of how I arranged the servo mounting for the nose leg steering.
By the way I converted everything to electric (landing gear, gear doors, brakes, air brakes)
There are more pictures of my M2000 build on this forum (but it is in French), however there are many pictures.
Hope that helps,

If it's of any use to anybody, I took a whole load of pics of my Mirage build (including how I put a second servo in for the elevons) which I am happy to put on CD and post...just let me have your address to [email protected]

Too long not posted here.
The Mirage 2000 has flown, this is the 3rd or 4th flight:
http://youtu.be/Fc0ct6g7oLA Due to circumstances only made a flight or 6 total for now, hope that I can take it out a little more coming year.
Grt,
Berto.

Seems to fly nicely, mine should be ready for the next year season. Could you please share your CoG and dry weight ?
Thanks

The CG is according the plans, can be fine tuned but therefor I have to make more flights.
Dry weight is about 15 kg I believe, I thought the weight wet was around the 18kg with a P160.
Landing can be slower but have to fly more to pull more on the stick, and the runway is long enough
With the last flight I ripped out the RH gear during a slow turn, landing was fine nothing wrong with it, turned at the end and there the gear goes
Repairs and stiffening is in process.
I found the Mirage 2000 feeling heavy on the sticks, but I guess that is due the low experience with it.

Hi Berto,
there was not manual delivered with mine, do you refer to the manual from the web site of FBJets for the CoG ?
I wish to get confirmation of the CoG from others as I don't feel confident with the content of this outdated manual.
My version is made from airex and is equipped with slats. I will install a RX180 in it. Where are your batteries located in the fuselage ?
Thanks

My Feedback: (17)
Bonjour Laurent,
Cg is 395 mm from front of wing, if they have not changed the design it falls in line with the speedbrakes leading edge.
My batteries are either side of the front retract for access, but I had to add some lead, put them all the way in the front , the removable nose is a nice addition.
I have a merlin 170 in mine and the back end of the pipe got distorded after a few flights, I had the same trouble on my Mb339, both are about 4 years old, might be better quality now but keep an eye on it.
Don t worry about the flying qualities,it flies on rails you will love it.
Florent
