.[sm=wink_smile.gif] Could be that Wren is not a RCU Advertiser .. Even though JHI is an advertiser and distributor for WREN..JUST A GUESS

The post was removed for the following reason:

Reason: Selling in the forums. RCU has specific rules about commercial entities selling in the forums. As a non-RCU advertiser there are specific guidelines about what can and cannot be posting in a sales ad in the forums. Unfortunately announcing a sale or product promotion is among those items that are not allowed in our forum. While RCU does respect the manufacturers and vendors in this hobby, we do try to keep the amount of advertisements that are in our forums to a minimum. We understand that as a commercial entity in this hobby you will need to communicate with your members, and we fully allow such communications. However we do limit what can be posted by those that do not advertise with RCU. As a side note, we do have limits on what our advertisers may post as well, but they are allowed to post limited commercial posts.

BTW, it was not me, but another moderator here on RCU.

RCU has rules that govern what may be posted by commercial entities in our forums. These rules are broken into RCU advertisers and non-advertisers. The rules for companies that are not RCU advertisers prohibit the placement of promotional or "sale" ads.

ALL OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
[ul][*]Non-RCU advertisers may submit one new special R/C related announcement or news thread during any 30 day rolling period. Announcements include only product information or news. No ads, promotions, specials, stock status or the like will be allowed. [*]Commercial announcements must be made in one forum only and the forum must be applicable to the topic of the commercial announcement thread [*]Members may reply to these threads and vendors may follow up with answers, support or additional information. [*]"Build Threads" are permitted [*]No "sale" ads or graphical ads allowed. This is for dissemination of product announcement, specials, market research or pertinent news strictly. [*]No bumping is allowed. Companies should use common sense discretion when adding information so they don't aggravate their customers [*]Full disclosure of company affiliation is required for these posts. [/ul]

I happened to read that "short" thread before it was nuked. It was getting "interesting" to say the least.... There was a little more than sale talk going on.

Not neccessarily so, there are different tiers of membership. Some DO pay for membership/market priviledges. Not that they deserve any different treatment, but I was just pointing out that there are some who do support the site thru a yearly membership fee.

Instead of cutting his answer off half-way through the first bullet, try looking at bullet #5 that he quoted:

No "sale" ads or graphical ads allowed.

plus the part in the first bullet that he included in bold and which you chose to delete:

No ads, promotions, specials, stock status or the like will be allowed.

Ban everything , the best advertising is through customer feedback,

No customer service has come close to Wren turbines nor the performance and reliability.

Is that advertising,???? I also use JR Radio eqiupment,
