Good to see the numbers growing.

That runway looks much longer than I remember.

The general condition of the site is improving all the time. That diagonal is the longest runway and yes, it has been extended a little

As with last year, the flying area will change part way through the day. This is to stop the gun club being overflown. It worked very well last year and still gives plenty of room to fly!
After 2.30pm the gun club closes and the area increases

Are you sure it was only 2 years ago and not before we doubled the width of the patch. Ali landed his concord across the patch which gives you an idea of the width!

Dunno, but the patch is wide enough now to take off and land with most jets in any direction. We had over 100 there last year on the Sunday.
The Saturday will be fly anything again off the peg.
As usual its £5 for all non members. This year that charge will be for Saturday too. You only pay once though for the weekend if that makes sense.

yes two years ago. Couch, you would have loved the old strip, it was like landing on a 100 yard long piece of toilet paper. And it was not the maiden of Mr Hinton's F104, he had thrown it down some tarmac a few times before that. Oh gosh what have I said.. Mark will be on the phone telling me off tomorrow............. (I won't be till 10.00am Mark[:-])
