Spring Air nose retract turning (strut) when retracted...
I have a set of Spring Airs 700 series. And When the nose retracts it turns the strut and the wheel does NOT go into the the fuse. How do I stop it from turning when retracting? Just to retract STRAIGHT up into the fuse? Will try and post pics tonight. Thanks.

Don't know which you have, but if it's pull-pull, there should be a small plastic block and a thin wire to hold it straight.
If you have the arm and pushrod type, get a ball point pen spring, cut it roughly in half and put one half on the slider rod between the arm and the push rod attachment. Generally, this will keep it straighter coming up. May have to experiment on spring length. You can stretch it or cut if necessary.

NightFlyer,
I recently made up the wire for a Spring Air nose gear on a customer's plane. If I can get it back for a few minutes, I will get some photos and dimensions. The big problem is coming up with a short enough screw to keep from binding the nose gear strut.
