Ron, I'm soo jealous of you right now. I love that scheme on the 16. One of my favorites. You should look into some wingtip smokers for the slow high alpha passes.
Good call on gluing the halves together. I did that on mine. It keeps it solid, and it's not like you ever have to take them apart to get at anything. Good call.

RE: 1/6 Skymaster F-16 Pro
The entire air system is finished thanks to this great valve. (Air Power EVSD-5U-PRO-ST) Sold by Skymaster-USA
Guys!! This valve doses it all. I will never use anything ells for my air systems. Compact simple to install and easy to setup.
Next I will start on the stab installation. More pictures after X-mas.
Have a good holiday.

RE: 1/6 Skymaster F-16 Pro
Hello all. Hope the holidays are going well...
As some of you know, there is no locking system on the 1/6 F-16 gear. It uses air to keep it locked. You will see a valve for the gear air on the board. When you power down the 5U-Pro Multi valve it dumps the air out of the system. The valve is placed on the gear down airline. Before you shut down the 5U-Pro system simply shut the valve off and then power down the system. This will keep the air in system so that the gear doesn’t collapse.
The gear has been holding air now for 3 days.
This is a great fix for anyone wanting to use the Airpower 5U-Pro Multi Valve on the 1/6 Skymaster F-16

RE: 1/6 Skymaster F-16 Pro
I drill and tap the control horns to 4-40 and use the heavy duty hangar 9 ball links on both ends of the supplied control rods. Servos are JR8711 with hangar 9 long aluminum control arms. Everything is secure with loctite and I put a little Hisol around the locknuts.
