Looking good Kasper. The [link=http://image2-4.rcuniverse.com/e1/forum/upfiles/126535/Gi83194.jpg]pilot[/link] doesn't look too thrilled though

Kasper,
The thread on the Danish forum has pictures worth thousands of words. Unfortunately my Danish is worse than my Japanese so I have to ask you a couple of questions here in English...
1. The turbine stand, stainless steel supports - beautiful work of art. Did you build it yourself? Can you post the dimensions?
2. What is this metalizer you placed over the fiberglass fuselage? Some kind of aluminum tape?
How do you get this finish with the rivets??
3... And how to you weather it?How do you get it so realistically dirty?
4. The most beautiful FLAP installation I've ever seen. I think even the fullsize airplanes don't have such a well thought out mechanism.
Speaking off it, what kind of reinforcement are you using on the flap?Is that airex/coremat?
5. And the Honeycomb material that you use here for supporting the exhaust pipe... what is that one?
For the work of art that you did on this plane, I think Kaj should adopt you as his son!
And by the way, it's clear why you call yourself "Carbon-Customs", you really do love carbon reinforcements. Amazing.
Impressive, beautiful!!!
Are you taking it to Florida Jets 2010?I think you would win an award with this kid of workmanship.

RE: Danish Lockheed T-33 T-BIRD 1:6
thunder receptor, sorry no video yet, but wil attend jet meeting the 26-28 june and there will be made a nice video there.
Hpais:
THANKS alot.
1: its not my engine its one of the first rabbit to be made, you can see the shorter exhaust nozzle.
2. its a product from mick reeves called "metal cover" ,its like flite metal.
rivets, i made a rivet tool, to press rivets in too the aluminium skin.
3. scrotch brite and airbrush.
4. the green is honeycomb with 1 layer of 25g (fine) fiberglass in each side,
the flap i sandwich with balsa instead of honeycomb. honeycomb = aramidgewebe in german
5. its from the same like on the flap wing support, the green plate, its about 5mm thick and weighs nothing, all the carbon is also with honeycomb but with angle layer of 160g carbonweave on each side. the carbon is EXTRA eye candyed up , with clear gelcote.
the price for getting a plane from DK to US is far to high, so i guess not
my friend stig andersen had to sell his plane at FJ because it was to expensive to get home again.

Love th elook of your master piece, great looking plane. Here's a picture of mine, it's a lot smaller and probably 1/100th the cost and still looks cool flying.
