I got my lenses today for the beacon and rear position light. It was a farily straight forward installation. I sanded the red beacon light to square the edges for paint later. I used canopy glue to attach the lense , which dries clear. The LED's are held in position by hot glue.

Here what the tape is called. 3mâ„¢ SOFT EDGE FOAM MASKING TAPE (D.A.R.T.) 12MM. There might be other manufactures of it, but this is what I used. It is a round foam tape that has adhesive on one side, which makes for a nice feathered edge. The tape comes in the box connected as you see in the pic. You only use one strip at a time. Then you simply use masking tape for the area you do not want painted.
