Flying on a frozen lake in Norway
Hi
Does this look nice, or what? This is how we fly during the winter here in Norway. This is on a lake, called Eina.

Hi Christian,
Yep - it looks nice, - but cold!!
How do you manage to keep your fingers warm?
Actually we should be able to do the same here in Sweden, but so far nobody has taken the initiative....[&o]
See you in LaxĂĄ...?
Pete

Hi Pete
Today it was only minus 2 degrees celsius, but i`we been there when it was minus 15 degrees celsius. The people up at the lake are fantastic people, especially Karl. They have put two caravans with heating inside on the ice, so we can get our fingers warm, have coffe and hot dogs! And off course, the Jetcat exhaust is rather warm to...
I`m planning to go to LaxĂĄ, yes. Hopefully with the FEJ F-15, if it is finish.

Hi
No, there was a large tractor, and two of the small snow blowers. The runway is about 600 ft long, and 35 feet wide!!!

Hi Jamie
Bardufoss is far north from me, i live in Oslo. I`ve been to Bardufoss, working in the Leopard garage. It is quite remote, but beautyful up there. Did you british guys stay out of trouble this year?;-)
best regards

Heard there was a lot of people there sunday, thats good! Mr. Pavestad is doing a good job keeping the ice snow free.
Karl and Anders was at Lake Eina today, and had perfect conditions!
See you next weekend, if the weather is nice at Bjørkelangen
Christian

We did! was to busy with work for recreation. It is beautiful country, but as we found out it can be very harsh! we were working from the Royal navy detachment barracks on the airbase, it was my first time up there and only the second time in 771 squadrons history.
