I'm trying to work out the optimum flow rate, my pump gets through 33oz/1 litre in around 1min 20secs pumping non stop.

Yep, good stuff, ground tested it in my Bobcat this afternoon and the results were astounding, it may be expensive but boy does it work, producing mini cumulus clouds which floated off into the blue yonder!!

Yep, I tried Citronella a while back and that worked well though the hang time was less.

I've got about 2 gallons of old kero-turbine oil mixed fuel that I'm not going to use this season in my engines - but I'd like to use it for free smoke oil if it will work. Some guys here have mentioned adding transmission oil to kerosene - what sort of ratio?

Same as Super Dri....same as Conosol 260.

Smoke oil IS mineral oil. Call it by whatever name brand you want. Heck, burn baby oil and leave a really fresh scent in the air!

Not even with transmission fluid mixed in there? Dang, I guess I got some bad gouge. Oh well, back to Super Dri.

with the tranny fluid it doesn't smoke slow, it doesn't smoke fast, it's kinda half-fast and it stinks to high heavens, if you want to go cheap just catch Lowe's/HD when they put seasonal lamp oil on clearance, don't get the low smoke variety though.

That's what I've been using Kevin. I have a store within 2 miles of my house. They also have hysol and festo type fittings available.

I tried ATF mixed with JP-4 and it did smoke but it wasn't what I thought it would be.
I paid Tower Hobbies 33.00 shipped for 1 Gal. of Super Dri. and it really worked well.
it is just too expensive...
Can someone post a video here to show maybe the form release mix or others.

Are their any water mixes that may work.
