Default Smoke system not smoking

I have a smoke system on my Falcon 120 and it smokes fine on the ground but not in flight. I know the pump is working in flight but it seams the air/exhaust is dispersing the fluid before it ignites. I have the same smoke system on my formost and it does fine. The Formost does have a short thrust tube that may be helping. My next step is to drill a hole in the exaust tube to inject the fluid in right behind the turbine blade. Any suggestions/help?
Thanks,
Matty

Matty,
The smoke injector tube should be a couple inches behind the exhuast nozzel.
A pic of your setup may help.

if it's actually pumping out a sufficient quantity of fluid you're just not injecting it into the proper part of the jet blast, too deep in and it burns the oil and produces low/no smoke, too far out and it's too cool to vaporize and low/no smoke, you need it in the outer edge of the jet blast so it completely vaporizes the fluid without burning it.

I wouldn't think the exact placement of the tubes would be critical but here's a pic of mine showing a location that definately works.

could just be the pic but from the looks of it, the right stick is too deep into the jet blast for optimal smoke.
