One of them involved was the F-86 piloted by Jim Hiller (I think). I'd have to look at my notes for the other plane though. I'm in the airport right now on my way home, so I won't be able to find out until I get home.

Jim Hiller WAS NOT Flying the F-86. It was me Joe Lewis.
I am not sure what happened. The only thing I am sure of is that 2 aircraft where occupiying the same air space at the same time.

RE: RCU Coverage of Florida Jets 2009
Could I please get a little help identifying a few planes? I have pictures that I can't match up to the owners. I'm looking for any info on the following.
Thomas Singer Velox - which one was his plane??
Rob Lynch Electra - which one was his plane??
Dustin Buescher Electra - which one was his plane??
Mako's F-16. Has a mako shark on a flag background on the tail. Does anybody have the owner's information for this plane??
I'm working on the write up for the RCU magazine article and I'd sure like to get the info straight. I appreciate any help that I can get from everybody here.
Thanks in advance??

RE: RCU Coverage of Florida Jets 2009
A little clarification about my post above is in order. I just received a PM about Thomas Singer. I know about his BAE Hawk and his Eurosport that he flew at the event. However, on the winners sheet that went out to us they have listed him as flying a Velox for the Best Jet Performance. I thought that maybe I had missed seeing him fly this plane, which wouldn't have been out of the question considering how many planes were there. So I thought that I should ask in here. I guess I should have put out this info in my first post. So....... did Thomas fly a Velox at all?? Or was it the Eurosport that he won with???
Edit: I just went back and looked at the video of the awards presentation I shot and Frank admitted as Thomas was walking off that he did make a mistake about Thomas' plane and that it was indeed a Eurosport. So that mystery solved. Whew!!
any help on the others would be extremely appreciated.

Rob Lynch was flying the Electra with the American flag on the vertical fin and all the stars on the wings.

The Makos F-16 was flown by Marvin Alvares from Miami, FL.
It is a FeiBao F-16, I believe it is powered by Jet Central Rhino.

Hey Ken,
Hello, Marvin Alvarez here from Miami, FL, I flew the F-16 1/6 Scale from Feibao with the Fasst Conversion 12 Channel Radio Futaba, has an AMT 450 with 38 Lbs of thrust been delivered, the F-16 has fully functional Canopy open and closes, full 2 position Speed Brakes, Slats and Flaps, the Pilot's head turns witht he Ruder Command, all working Navigation Lights except on the wing tips, the airplane weighs dry 45 lbs, i fly close to 2 gls of fuel, i fly it close to 8 or 9 minutes.
Im based in the Makos RC Jet Club in the Miami/Homestead area and the Scheme its after the Nose Art Work from The 93rd Fighter Squadron Stationed at Homestead Airforce Base in South Florida, the FMAF/08 4468 on the Tail has a meaning as well, FM for the Makos Squadron Homestead Airforce Base, 08 the year it was deliverd which mine was in 2008 and AF im still trying to figure out, and 4468 would be 3 digits of the F-16 but i used our Makos RC Jet Club A.M.A Charted Club Number.
I just saw your posting today but just wanted to let you know all the accurate information, thnx to Jettflyer for passing my name to you.
