RE: Unofficial Cali Jets shots
Great pic's Pat - thanks for taking the time to use your camera... I had one with me but got far less pic's than I had hoped (just got kinda busy somehow, between trying to watch everything for awards judging and being the local 'RC Parts Central' mobile hobby shop )
Each time I spotted you I meant to come over and say hi (haven't spoken to you much since my last Vegas flying trip), but somehow I always got distracted - sorry !

Great shots guys! We need more!!!! It really was a great turnout of friends and planes...if you missed it, you missed one of the best times you would have ever had!! Thanks to Kenny, Dave and Dave and Jill (and all the others) for a great event.

Eddie, great meeting you and seeing you gorgeous birds, maybe some day you can get down to Redding and we can fly the Reactions in formation. you have given me a new goal to shoot for in aircraft detailing. congrats on the award, well deserved.

Thanks guys... and I have to admit I'm humbled by the excess of talent every one else has there on display, at Cal Jets. I'm just happy enough to be among the gang and picking up on the vibe through osmosis.
Kevin, you are on! Do you ever make it down to Sac to fly with the boys there? I'm likely gonna do some flying with Nick a few times (what I can get in anyhow) this spring and into summer. It's a good field and it's centrally located too, we should have some fun.
Thanks Pat, I look forward to your "renovation" project - your subject is worthy of the time for sure.

I get down there from time to time, once the weather gets hot here I can no longer fly jets at home, so I will making the trip more often. your A-4 looks great and should be a fantastic flier.

I will need to use a little restraint next year. I am on my 3rd day of hang over. Starting to show my age!

FYI, for anyone who wants an RV to stay at the field in, but prefers to be able to use their regular vehicle for driving down to the event etc - there's apparently an RV rental pickup place in Bakersfield. I looked into doing this previously, but never pulled the trigger.
