George,
Under the "SKUNK WORKS TERMS" Mark cannot show the details of the gear as it is still in development. I was with Mark on Sunday at Pocono Mt. Airport and will say that the Prototype FACET-1700 R/G (Retract Gear) is as a speedster with Mark at the controls.
With all that I have in progress and development, it will NOT be availble unitl later this year when with Mark's help we are fully satisfied with the Gear system. At that time I will discontinue the 1200 series airframe as the 1700 series model size has more room for equipment offering a Clear Canopy w/ Small cockpit detail. It will be offerd in Fixed and retactable gear versions and just maybe an ARF.......
Take care.

If it is a speedster in his hands, I hate to see it in mine. (Remember the "stress" testing I put the original 1200 through?) [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Hi Geroge,
Yes, I sure do remeber the first time I saw your flying style at Fentress in 2003.
Ron Stahl was standing next to me when you did the 125 mph SNAP ROLL after which Ron and I had to pick up our jaws off the ground and then the famous line by Ron.........FACET Strutural Testing......COMPLETE !!!! and the 2nd most famous FACET moment by Kevin McLeod (formely w/ GNM) on a his call to enter the landing pattern at FJ-03 with his "fixed gear F1200" he said to the flight line controller...........GEAR DOWN AND WELDED !!
Ahhhhhh, the good old days.
