Harpoon II Maiden with P60
Maidened my Harpoon II on Saturday powered by a P60. Having previously been advised that P60 power wouldnt be enough for the Harpoon, Dave from Motors and Rotors assured me it would be plenty. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how quick it was! Took off in about 50m from our grass strip, excellent speed and more than enough vertical for me as a novice.
Thanks very much to Dave for all the help and advice for my first turbine build (and selling me a Harpoon when I went in for a couple of extension leads [X(]). It all went together really well - picked the kit up Easter Saturday and flew it 2 weeks later. I've put the P60 on removable rails just in case I get greedy for power
Hope to post some proper flying shots soon.

It's a great combo, my original Harpoon I with a P60 is now in Poland, good grass model with AT trailing link legs.
I'm glad you popped in for coffee and some leads!

RE: Harpoon II Maiden with P60
Thanks Carsten,
Really good video. Im jealous of your lovely runway ! Lucky the Harpoon is just as happy off grass though especially with the trailing link legs. Cant wait for the weekend to get back on the sticks again.
Dave from now on if I need any little bits Im going to have to phone them through to get them by mail otherwise I will only end up with more big bits! Must get the Comp Arf Mustang started....
