I believe the Phantom was painted and weathered by Celso de Santi, he runs a beautiful shop in Sao Paulo and his skills are only surpassed by his niceness and honesty.
The Phantom won best scale at Manoel's. I saw it at de Santi's shop this week and the finish and weathering on the model are unbelievably realistic! Makes me itch all over for making one. Maybe for Christmas

We have a Jetcat Titan on it.. If my memory doesn´t fail me Celso is using one on his plane too and it provided excellent performance.
However if the two engine version where available at the time when we bought the plane we would choosed using two P-80´s or better yet two P-120´s for extra reliability.. this plane really deserves it!

Enrique,
You're correct. Celso is using a JetCat single. I can't precise if it's a Titan, P160 or P180.
That plane is a beauty and Celso says it flies like a trainer, very stable in all axis, easy and slow landing. Impressive for a plane with that size and performance.

Celso did a excellent job flying it and it looked great... hope ours fly as well too! In my opinion a great particular thing on this plane is how the elevator is hinged (specially compared to the full flying stab models, like the F-15 , F-18, etc.)giving extra confidence in hammering it down at full power. .. not to mention that wide track landing gear!

Also thanks to you Manoel for having all this work and expense for us having a good time doing what we like... Indeed it was a fantastic gathering, full of fine planes and fine people. Hope that in the next edition will have more people and jets too !
Also hope that the wine I bought didn´t gave you a ressaca! :-)

RE: Manoel´s Jet Gathering
Hi Ary, I am doing all I could to arrange to meet you in Manaus this year. Trying to ship something bigger than my Kangaroo there, but in case of I couldn´t my old faithful will be the weapon of choice... Hope to see you there my friend!
About Manoel´s gathering this year I have heard that it was very good again, but unfortunately my mother passed away a couple of days before it, and I wasn´t able to attend.
Best regards, Enrique.
