Hi UB guys!
The turbine flight season is over for me this year. I have flown me UB about 30 times , and I can only say that this is absolutely the most beautiful/best model I have flown over my 30 years in modell buisness (11 years with the turbines).

The only problem I had during this season is with my propane valve to my AMT Olympus.
But!! I can tell you (guys) I have never had such so good service that I received from AMT Netherlands.
It took 4 days, then I received a new propane valve with no charge.

Thanks!
Anita / Bennie from AMT Netherlands

Guys!
Do you have the money! buy a BVM Ultra Bandit with a AMT Olympus. This is a great choice/combination.

Hello Lasse,

Is your funnel in post #23 (looks like a funnel?) for drainage from the aft aft turbine area?

Thanks
Dave

Hello Dave!
It is a funnel for the drainage of the bypass duct.

Lasse,

This jet is its beautiful, one day my dream is to build one myself. What is difficult is to pay U.S. $ 11,000.00 I am taking tablets of courage, so I can pay this amount.
But this jet is very nice flight and it is wonderful.

Congratulations!

Lasse,

Did you run yours with the header tank?I couldn't tell from th extra deck you made coverign that area.

I have been wondering about removing it in mine to save a little weight for grass field flying...

Thanks
Dave

I know this is probably the wrong place but thought I'd stick a link up to the second flight of my Ultra over the summer. Straight away it gives you loads of confidence and is just a pleasure to fly and operate. I've made a few tweaks since then and the plane has a fair few more flights but as the winter is here and I was rummaging through my computer so thought I'd do something with the video. The cameraman struggles a bit at first to keep up!

I'm running a P200SX and currently have my timer at 11 minutes. I keep landing well after the timer (which is started right before I start the takeoff roll) and still have fuel in the main tanks! Anyone tried using the smaller tanks? I'm either going to keep adding to the timer or reducing fuel capacity.

Thanks Scott - but it's less to do with me and more to do with the plane being way better than I am

I did have a couple of gear problems on the first few flights which was down to a leaky EV5U pro valve and it popped the gear down (gear failsafe) towards the end of the flight during the rolling stuff. The unit was replaced and all has been great on that side since.
