Hey Adil,
You better make LBJR. If you don't, you know that Don will be telling stories about you all weekend.
ORIGINAL: Adil Nasim
I'm going to try and make this.. Miss all the good times at this event..

Ahhh we don't have to worry about Don anymore.. He won't be a heavy "weight" much longer around here.. I took care of it

Oh boy, looks like I may have to fire up that old thread " Jet Flying at FBF" Well maybe not , once Liberty Bell rolls around I think alot of questions as to where Adil has been and what hes been doing will be self explanatory ! Mike I would just like to say that if Adil does come to LBJR that I want to donate my steak dinner to him.

Wow, it's hard to believe that it's now 2 weeks, not 2 months, until the 2009 Liberty Bell Jet Rally! Cindy and I are looking forward to having all of our friends, old and new, come to SouthCentral PA to enjoy the jet rally and the family attractions in the area.
For those who come in on Thursday, TJ Rockwell's restaurant has a great all you can eat seafood dinner Thursday night. Great place that many of us hit last year. Jet Central will be sponsoring the Friday night steak dinner at the field - thanks Eric! The awards banquet will be at Hennigan's restaurant on Saturday evening. For those with athletic skills, a bowling alley is next door to Hennigan's.
For those of you who know of John Mesolella (sp?) at Matrix Machine know the quality of his landing gear. Well John has donated an air extend nose gear strut for a Skymaster F-4. What beautiful machine work!
For those of you wanting tent space please contact me ASAP. The segments are filling fast and we want to make sure that you get space. The segments are 15'x30' and cost $290. They are set up on Wednesday so you'll have 4 full days of tent use.
Thanks very much to our sponsors! Every CD will tell you that without their support these events just wouldn't happen to the level that we enjoy.
Jet Central - Friday night steak dinner
Frank Tiano Enterprises and the Zap Gang - Co-sponsor Best of Show
Keith Ferris Aviation Art - Co-sponsor Best of Show
Bob Violett Models - Best Scale
Electric Jet Factory - Best Electric
JetCat USA

Is tent camping allowed? Fee or no fee?
ORIGINAL: f106jax
On site RV camping is available to registered pilots only. Please let me know in advance if you'll need space so we can plan for your parking.

Tent camping is fine...no fee. However, no protection from the Children of the Corn.

Cindy and I just returned from the Donegal Springs Airpark and all is shaping up well for the 2009 Liberty Bell Jet Rally! After the straw crop across the runway was cut, mid-season silage was planted. This is corn that right now is about one foot tall and should be no higher than two feet in two weeks. I know that most were hoping for 12 foot corn, sorry to disappoint.
For those still needing a hotel room, the Holiday Inn Express has several rooms available and will honor our event price. Just remember to tell them that you are with the Liberty Bell Jet Rally and the nightly rate is $110.
Pre-registrations must be postmarked by this Friday, 24 July 2009. Please pre-register if possible, it saves you some money and gives us an idea of how many steak dinners to prepare for Friday night. Many thanks to Jet Central and Eric Clapp for sponsoring the steak dinner for all pilots and crew!
Cindy and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Look's like we will have weather in the 80's if things continue as expected from the weather man forecasts. Working everynight trying to get my Electra finished before the event.

Hey Guys...
We still have tent space available as well as tables and chairs are available. The tent man needs a final count on Tuesday, 28 July. Contact me at [email protected]
Thankfully gas prices are down from the over $4 a gallon prices last year. The local gas prices are in the $2.35 a gallon range.
In addition to Jet Central, Bob Violett Models, Great Northern Models, and the Hidden Hangar; several new companies will be at the Liberty Bell Jet Rally. WingzTees, Central Hobbies, and 2icrc all will be at the LBJR to show you their great products.
See you next week!
