Default 2.4GHz receivers & transmitters

HI Guys need to clear something up are 2.4GHz receivers & transmitters compatable around the world or are they made for different zones like mobile phones.

They are compatable frequencywise but you do need to be aware of different Tx power output for different area's.
For instance the states are allowed more power output than the UK, hence the JR 9303 for US and DSX9 for UK, same radio, different power output. Hope this helps, Gary.

HI Gary I am not sure what power our trannys put out here in Australia I have a DSX9 myself, I am in the process of getting a 9100 receiver from the US and wanted to make sure it was okay. I know mobile phones work on 2.4 as well and when I go over sea'sit has to do it's roaming thing before it works

Mavrick, recievers will be no problem, all compatible, it's only Tx output that's an issue.
Most mobiles work on either 960 Mhz or 1.8 Ghz as a matter of interest, (I hace a mobile phone/model shop)
