Default Anybody using Futaba G3 Rx in Jets?

Waiting on weatronics to move to 2.4...

Still on 72MHZ Futaba PCM.

Got a brand new G3 Rx that can use with my 12FG. However have some doubt about the noise rejection capability of it. I'm familiar with the mode B option, still?

Anybody using it with turbine jets? Comments?

Thanks

Edgar,
I'm on 35 MHz here, using G3 (a mix of 5014 and 5114) on 7 different jets, and a double system (2 x 5014) in a comp-arf Pitts S12, all without any problems at all
The 5114's are running mode B and the 5014's in mode A
But, I'm not on 72 MHz, so it might be a different story ?

I have been using Futaba 12FG G3 for a while and in my Jet I have Eagle Tree Telemetry with a 200 mW transmitter installed close to the receiver without any problem. So, noise rejection is excellent.

As you know, mode B was a way Futaba found to correct the problem of transmiting at a too fast rate in the earlier G3 systems, so it should be ok enough.

However it would be a pity this days not using a 2.4 system, specially is something heavy and fast like a jet.

Default RE: Anybody using Futaba G3 Rx in Jets?

Can anyody please help me on this? i have 4 new futaba g3 rx's.  I have tried to switch on the tx first then the rx nothing happens. no response. i have inputed the serial numbers already.   tried it the other way, rx first and then tx,still nothing. Can somebody pls tell me the correct sequence  on how to make the tx "talk" to the rx? I presumed that they should operate just like the old 72s but they dont. Im sure im doing something wrong with the sequence or setup. pls guide me on this. My manual is of no help since its japanese. Thank u in advance for the help.
