Ohhhh, I'd be very interested if the quality is there! I'd be interested to find out how it'd handle vibration to (Especially if it were mounted on say a single cylinder gasser versus a Turbine)

I got the sample in
It's very small and comes with a mount
I took some pictures of it on the mount to show size, next to my coffee spoon this morning
I will do some sample video from it here in a sec.

Ok here is the first flight video.
Camera is mounted ahead of the canopy.
Crosswind was pretty bad, dead crossed, although this landing wasn't near as bad as the next video.

This is the second flight, well it's 2 flights actually.
This time the camera is mounted to the leading edge of the wing with the lens facing slightly down.
This is my favorite.
The first landing was very hard, so we lined up and went for another. That landing turned out even worse and we ended up in the grass.

no but if you look above at how I had it on the mount it comes with you can see basically that the camera is underslung on its mount and then I just screwed the mount to the nose with some servo screws.

Don't bother... get a Hero!
http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php...2&productid=27
Here is a video with a bunch of aeirals mixed in using the Hero cam.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bLse...e=channel_page
At about 5.25 there's a shot of the pilot trying to barnstorm a canopy and knocking the camera right off the plane. Camera was and is still working fine after.
I've been amazed to see what this little camera will produce and put up with.

Here is my poor rendition of what you are trying out with the pod camera. I use a video downlink. If you are looking for quality video, in a pod, it can be expensive due to having to find a quality camera and lens for the job. A cvs camera does a great job for the money. The problem with those is that they are hard to fit into a pod. Of all the cheap cameras I have used, the little cvs camera had the best quality. The flycam was another good one and read for a pod. Some folks are putting servos on the lens for movement.

Get what U pay for....
If your camera can work for the $ then there will be lots of buyers. Esp if it takes SD cards so you can just plug and play.

RE: Gauging interest (Fly DV video added)
I think you missed the idea of this thread. It isn't about a camera you like or use. It's about this one in particular.
There is no debate here. This thread has nothing to do with the camera you posted. But yet you decided to jump in and post all about it.
What for? I don't remember asking about "other" cameras.
If I make a post about my P-60 are you gonna jump in and tell me all about an AMT motor?
Yeah I could tie an HD camcorder to my plane and have great video
or I can spend 60 bucks for a camera that actually looks pretty cool, like it's ordinance, takes video and pictures.
thanks for the spam though
