Does anybody know if the GB Hobbies company are still trading?

RE: ECU
jason,
I have tried their web site and it's no longer there - some sort of monster truck company! The email address I have is also no longer valid. There used to be a UK contact - Martin Forrest? but I think he passed away a few years ago.
All I wanted to know was if the TCU would be compatable with a 2.4 radio set?

RE: ECU
I can confirm that the GB units that were last shipped did in fact work with JR/Spectrum. There was a small change made to the comparator circuit a few years ago, but that's the only thing I can think of that would potentially have an effect. I use to service and program these for PST Jets, as their ECU use to be a re-labelled GB hobby unit with slightly modified programming. Its also my understanding that Gordon and Bruce have shut down the operation.
If you need help or have questions, PM me and I'll do my best to help you out.
Kelly
PS: not that anyone asked but always range check an aircraft with a GB ECU with the data terminal disconnected. On my Futaba gear, it significantly reduced the range.

Harry, jason
Good to hear that Martin is alive and well - sorry for the mistake. Please forward my best wishes to Martin.
Harry, got the PM - thanks. Martin's email address has not changed from the one I had - that's before I deleted it after hearing the incorrect information as to his well being.
