This is a picture of the tentative setup. If ground conditions warrant, area can be moved to the ramp and the spectators moved down a bit. But then tents would have to be secured someway. No nails in the ramp.
FYI- from the north end of the runway to where the other runway crosses, the distance is 2000 ft. The pilot setup area is about 560 ft. long and more can be added if needed.

If you go to first post of this thread and look at picture #4, I think the area on the left where the small tree is, is the tentative setup area is. Butch may chime in here.

Bob O, just move the red box over next to the runway and you gotit. Think Miss. Jets, tents in the grass 50ft. off the runnway, trailers behind, if it is dry. Motorhomes and campers on the taxiways. The local people are great and willing to work with us in anyway to make the event a good time for everyone.

Hotel Rooms! Just got a call from one of the other hotels that they had 11 rooms open up. If you need one you need to call ASAP ! Ridge Motel 254-559-5308 The rooms are in the $50 range. Butch

I just want to remind everyone that the ground is very wet ! We will be setting up on the ramp ! So bring weights for your tents. I think this will be better for everyone. We will be able to set up close to where the 3 runways come together. Plenty of room and dry pavement ! Butch
