What about the possibility of Kit versions for those of us who want more control of the build and want to paint it ourselves? Something like the Fei Bao ones have had, you have the option of ARF or Kit built. I would personally be far more interested these days in jets that I have control over the build on.

The chute diameter was 16' and was appearantly very effective. So at 1/5th we will need a 3.2' chute if its even possible.
Vincent: The "international red-orange" airplanes you posted were target drones and I'm guessing you already know that. Love the remote control station on top of the truck. What I have researched thus far:
Some of the QF-104A's started life as YF-104A's. My books show that four YF's were converted. There were 17 YF (service-test) airplanes built. An additional 7 pre-production F-104A's were also built. I have read there was a total of 24 QF airplanes. All of these airplanes were upgraded to production F-104A standards and were deployed to USAF squadrons. It was after this time that some of them were converted to drones.
Does anyone have pictures of the 104's that operated out of Tinker AB in Oklahoma?

I figured we needed some sort of ranking for Anton. Would be neat to have a poll for each scheme but I'm not sure how to set that up. I'm still looking for a Tinker AFB scheme from Oklahoma but have not seen any.

Would Skymaster also do F-104 in 1:6 scale, like Fly Eagle Jet ?
Really hopeing that these new jets would be very precise scale with accurate screw and rivet details.

Hi, all
Is this photo a real F-104? the Likai told me that who will make the semi hydraulic cylinders for the retract like the real , I can not wait to see the landing gear from Likai's design for the new F-104, this will be first time that i will get the hydraulic retracts for SM f-104, but not need the pump and not need big air cylinders, and the size of Hydralic cylinders are very small as real scale too,....
now SM F-104 starting make the penal line with rivets...etc details, Sorry for the delay, we will release the F-104 on end of 2011 or beginning of 2012,
Best Regards
Anton

Hi Anton,
I believe that photo of the undercarriage is of a 1/4 scale model in Germany. See the finished attached photo.
Its good to hear that there is progress with your F-104
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi, Paul
Thank you for your answer,
This is really a great work, I can not imagine how long it took to build this F-104 1/4 ,
I think we can hardly pass him, but we will do our best to improve our F-104,
see you at Jet Power 2011
Best Regards
Anton
