    RE: The Sound of Silence

Very nice video. I hope my P160 sounds like those Pratt & Whitney F119 engines when I finally finish and fly my F-22.

    RE: The Sound of Silence

    Nice video.

For those embarking on their F22, I have had a lot of fun with my Yellow F22/Titan SE. Great flying plane.

    RE: The Sound of Silence

My 11 year old daughter & I were at that show this past weekend and ha a blast! The F-22 has a presence in the sky like no other bird. To quote Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear fame) "It's VERY shouty"

The best comment she made was "The Raptor looks like a lot of fun to fly, I can't wait until I can do that!"

That's my girl! Mach 2, hair on fire!

    RE: The Sound of Silence

I'm fortunate enough to get a F-22 airshow almost every week. Most, if not all, are in their pre-delivery Pistachio Green and Pastel trim. I keep a camera on my desk to try to catch the Raptor and escort F-16 fly-by's. Most times I have to wait til the second pass as I'm never fast enough to catch them first time around...

The Rapters are operational here at Holloman now. When the first two arrived they ivited the whole town out to the Mesa Verde Ranch area for a demo. Our flying field is on their property, and the demo was mostly overhead. Wow. Bob

Very Nice Mark, keep her close to that flightline with helmet in hand, because before you know it,.........she may be flying wingman for Capt. Jamieson one day.[8D]

Then again, if I was as close to driving age as she appears,.............I know what "I'd" be thinking........

Best Wishes, and Good Luck Mark! []

In the meantime, I'll go back to listening to the sounds of silence, live of course, while in the lab where the watchmen play, and the eagles lay at the end of the day.

    Take Care,
