If only airline pilots could even have a drink anymore. Great acting though.
Now, what about EDDIE WEEKS and the DC-10's from back around 2000 also......remember the 4 point roll?
And the low pass?? [X(]

MORE PICS AND VIDEOS PLEASE
Anyone have any vintage footage or even current video of Mr. Bob Violet at the sticks?
Other than what's in my head from watching or reading about the type of RC Jets he has designed and flown, and from speaking to him from time to time; This is all I seem to be able to come up with for now.

Some more video of Uncle Bob on the sticks is a welcome addition to this thread.

Tthe low passes and normal 3d manoveurs, tight landings are all pretty normal stuff?
Ralf Losemann was one of the first to had the thrust vectoring and perfect the hovering of jets at low levels? Are the majority of posters here Americans?

As far as those who post in this forum, well it's RC Universe so I would think the breakdown pretty much follows the standard global internet usage model from a few years ago [link=http://www.freedomofexpression.org.uk/resources/policy+papers/the+contemporary+communications+environment]as seen here.[/link] Of course, this may look a bit different now.
Although, there are a lot of Americans on here, most are pretty much from all over the planet, and a few who we have no idea where they are from, kind of like online in AC6 with the guy in the SU-47. Nobody seems to know where he comes from or who he is, even though we get the feeling he might be from the states.
So until a more updated map is available one day.......maybe even from RCU staff, I would imagine it looks close to the global internet usage map below.

DAVID REID and another guy come to mind when I think about F-4 Phantoms, some video or pics of Mr. Reid with the sticks would be nice
Oh yea, the other guy was already mentioned, Mr. Tim Redelman.

In addition to the forementioned, whether or not you are flying a scale or sport type of jet makes a big difference as well.

I hear you on the some planes are harder etc, but surely hovering with a vector nozzle kinda is the next step up? Almost to the level of a helicopter pilot. (I know that will kick things off!)

VERY NICE!!! Mr. Losemann is seriously talented, so much so that I'm starting to think he may be the SU-47 guy from AC6. Whoever it is that's getting us online with that jet flies a lot like that, only with weapons. Either way, much respect to Mr. Losemann, thanks for the video.
Keep the names, vids and pics coming folks.

I would love to see some of the top pattern flyers on the sticks with an ultra. I bet they could do some precise manuevers that would make us drool.

Tru Dat! Ali is ICE on the sticks. And the fact that he's got more airplanes than the R.A.F. helps too!!

RE: Worlds Best RC Jet Pilot
i know this is an old forum but i will put my two cents in anyway.. too me the definition of a good pilot is someone who can fly a variety... warbird , immac ,jet...my opinion the no.1 pilot would have to go to ali machinchy..he is incredible...i have seen him fly the 3 past years at florida jets and nobody comes close.. he like a surgeon with that radio...dont get me wrong there are aolt of great pilots but i have to give ali the title....
