Quitting time depends on attendance, as we will not kick anyone out!! I'm sure some of the local guys will hang on for a while into the evening.

Ron has also graciously invited us from Bergen R/C to come down and hang out for the day!!

We'll bring the New 44 Magnum Helicopter down for a demo, and maybe the huge Turbine Observer as well...

Looks like you are going to have a great time! Mike Murphy is coming over from England to join in the fun and provide lots of help and information about turbines. I'm quite envious, I wish all the Wren guys (and the gal) could be there, too, to meet some of our US customers and see our good friend Chris Bergen with his turbine helicopters.

Mike's promised to bring back a lot of photos...

I just got back from the Wren USA open house. I would like to thank Ron Ballard and his wife Sue and Mike Murphy for a very good time. The open house was very informative.
I did get to assemble one of the new Wren 70 kits and it is a pleasure to put together. I am not a machinest by far but the work on this kit is great. After assembly, we put it on the test and ran it. It ran great.

Also the food was great, thats why we goto these things anyway.

I was also fortunate to go. What a treat to:

1) Meet Ron in person (even more fun than on the phone!)
2) Watch Joe and Ron assemble two motors (a 70 and 160)
3) Hear from Mike Murphy all about the design and construction of the Wren motors
4) Enjoy the great food and hospitality from Ron and Sue
5) Meet a bunch of fellow Wren enthusiasts and RCU friends

Highly recommended .. I understand Ron wants to do them from time to time, just like they do in england.

Just a quick note to say thanks to all who participated!! Mike and I are busy early this morning finishing up on a few details before he begins his return trip home to England. Susie took loads of pics, and over the next couple of weeks, we will post highlights of the event. Again, from the bottom of my heart....Thank you to all!!
