Default Air Pressure Loss - What's Normal?

I have a Robart gear valve, Robart Large tanks, ProLink air-up/air-down gear. After about 2-3 hours, it bleeds down from about 100 psi to 50 psi.

I am not planning on having a 3+ hour flightht, but should I be concerned? If so, any good ideas as to how to find that small a leak?

Thanks,
George

I have purchased a KingCat that was still holding air after 2 years! If you are using the small plastic "Tees" (maybe they are some other material - they look like plastic) - replace them with metal tees. When I did that all my slow leaks stopped.

I would make sure that there is very, very little leakage. You never know when a small leak will get larger.
Mix a small amount of detergent with water , and paint every connection and the U.C. cylinders. bubbles will show the leak
If possible try to isolate sections with a clamp, to locate the bad section.

Thanks guys. I guess I was hoping that I didn't have a problem and you would tell me it was "normal". But I got lucky and found it at the first place I looked...right at the air guage.

What I do to diagnose air leaks is use multiple pairs of hemostats and pinch off all connections except for one starting from the tank and working towards the valve and then onto the gear. It takes a while to totally figure it out (for enough air to leak), but once you do it's a definite find.
